This is a great picture (if I do say so myself!) from the zoo.. I seem to enjoy taking photos of the flowers and trees at the zoo more than the wildlife! I love when bees buzz around the flowers.. so cool.. I really need a REAL macro camera.. that's my interest..

A wonderful twisty tree at the Adelaide Oval carpark - in all the years I worked there (9 years I think) I don't remember paying attention to the direction of these branches.. amazing the lack of attention to my surroundings!

A few of the little animals (almost always turtles) I have given Evan over the years. From right to left - Big Head - the turtle, Mouse and Elephant.. so cute! (You can tell I didn't leave the house at all this day and had to be creative to find something to photograph, huh?!!). I only did 773 steps this day!! Oops!

I love the colours of these shipping containers. I love the navy blue next to the rusty white, next to the green.. it's amazing the interesting (!!) photos I can take when I go to places I don't usually go.. almost worth the price of a bus ticket to walk in a new neighbourhood, hey??!!

I still haven't worked out where she lives to say thanks.. I should have been paying more attention when she told me.. :(

A close one..

I found out yesterday how I might need to be a little more careful in making sure I have an interesting photo for the day before nightfall. I was lazy all day, hanging around the house doing nothing and it's quite hard to find an interesting photo inside the house after dark. I would at least rather have a photo up my sleeve (so to speak) just in case I don't find anything else to use for that day. Having said that - it's now 1:15pm on wednesday and I still haven't got a photo. Of course, I am going out today which instantly ups the chances I have of finding an interesting subject for my photo - it's when I don't go out that it gets hard to find something - and lately I've had trouble going for my daily walks because I'm tired or bored or it's too hot outside.. anyway, I'm rambling..

I think it's quite important that I try to keep this blog up-to-date (within a couple of days, anyway), because it's quite daunting thinking of having to do 4 or 5 days at a time.. I can't imagine having to do a week at a time - and I'm not writing anything beautiful or more than just the basic description of my photos!
